Job Responsibilities

Develop Computer Vision (CV), Machine-Learning (ML), and Deep-Learning (DL) models using images and other sensor data to detect and recognize objects. Conduct research on state-of-the-art methods to improve and optimize the performance of CV, ML, and DL algorithms and models to meet high product quality and real-time compute requirements using large-scale server-class machines. Develop models and algorithms for accurately localizing objects in real-world environments using geometric computer vision and depth perception techniques. Use cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and various database management systems to develop tools and pipelines for large-scale data processing and analysis to improve product
performance.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Robotic Systems, or related field. 2 years of related experience. Required skills: Develop Computer Vision (CV), Machine-Learning (ML), and Deep-Learning (DL) models using images and other sensor data to detect and recognize objects (2 years) Conduct research on state-of-the-art methods to improve and optimize the performance of CV, ML, and DL algorithms and models to meet high product quality and real-time compute requirements using large-scale server class machines (2 years) Develop models and algorithms for accurately localizing objects in real-world environments using geometric computer vision and depth perception techniques (any amount of experience acceptable) Use cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and various database management systems to develop tools and pipelines for large-scale data processing and analysis to improve product performance (2 years).  5% domestic travel; may work remotely; periodic time in the office required; must live within commuting distance of the office.
