Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY
A Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the DSML - COE he would be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and integrating complex application systems and developing pipelines to answer requirements and demands of the customer. He would provide technical expertise  and ensure quality and functionality of application components by overseeing the entire development lifecycle from analysis and design to implementation and support while acting as a mentor to junior developers 

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Transforms and develops data science prototypes into ML systems using appropriate datasets and data representation models with moderate complexity.
• Researches and implements appropriate ML algorithms and tools that create new systems and processes powered with ML and AI tools and techniques according to business requirements
• Designs and implements workflows and analysis tools to streamline the development of new ML models at scale both in batch and streaming mode.
• Creates and evolves ML models and software that enable state-of-the-art intelligent systems using best practices in all aspects of engineering and modeling lifecycles.
• Extends existing ML libraries and frameworks with the developments in the Data Science and ML field for enterprise use.
• Establishes, configures, and supports scalable cloud components that serve prediction model transactions
• Integrates data from authoritative internal and external sources to form the foundation of a new Data Product that would deliver insights that supports business outcomes that is necessary for ML systems.
• Collaborates with skilled Designers, Architects, Software Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deliver ML products and systems for the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5+ years of experience in application development, with a proven track record of delivering successful projectsProficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++) and knowledgeable with frameworks like PyTorchm Perl and Tensorflow or relatedFamiliarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP - Preferred) and containerization technologies (Docker, KubernetesKnowledgeable in machine learning engineering or related tasks, with a track record of developing and deploying models in production environments.Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.Understanding of different SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Ability to design and implement scalable and robust application architecturesExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and convey technical conceptsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
