We are looking for a Senior Machinery Engineer to join our team based in Karshi. You will report to the Machinery Lead and you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of process rotating equipment in Air Products facilities in the CERC region. This equipment includes centrifugal & axial compressors up to 40 megawatt rated power, turbo-expanders, reciprocating compressors, cryogenic pumps, and also hot equipment such as steam-turbines, blowers and boiler-feed pumps. The role requires an understanding of key engineering principles to enable troubleshooting rotating equipment issues and resolving them effectively. This knowledge will then provide direct input into how the equipment is operated, maintained, and upgraded when required.

As the Senior Machinery Engineer you will:

Provide the first line of technical expertise on process machinery and rotating equipment in support of the profitable operation of the plant.Supporting the operating facility in addressing longer term issues, by doing in-depth analysis and increasing your knowledge when required in specific areas.Reviewing and analysing the rotating equipment to find opportunities for improvement of reliability and efficiency.Making informed decisions to ensure that maintenance is done in a safe, cost effective manner and protects the assets.

You will have:

Engineering degree and 5 years’ experience of working in the field of rotating equipment in industries such as power, chemical, steel, oil & gas.Ability to troubleshoot and make good and timely decisions in a pressurised situation.A flexible and dynamic approach to work. Willingness to travel.A good working knowledge of the design, construction, and maintenance of process machinery.Experience in process plant operations.Good command / effective operational proficiency in both Uzbek, Russian and English language.
