Senior Maintenance

Find your purpose as Senior Maintenance with CentraCare!  This position is responsible for repairs and maintenance that may be vital to the comfort and safety for patients, employees and the general public. This position is at the CentraCare Plaza. 

Schedule:

Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks Monday - Friday 7a-3:30p

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is determined by years of related experience; min salary is $49,134.23 Full time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. 3 years at a minimum of experience in Buildings & Grounds systems, equipment and maintenance. State of Minnesota Specials Boiler License after hire within 6 months required. Possess the mechanical and physical ability to perform duties as required.  A valid driver’s license and a driving record in good standing required.

Core Functions:

Performs minor repair and maintenance activities in assigned buildings. Conducts monthly preventative maintenance checks and documents as needed (checks drain traps, generator operational runs, emergency lights, fire extinguisher checks and all other life safety requirements for each assigned building). Conducts preventive maintenance on equipment in all assigned buildings, documenting checks in CMMS system. Performs and documents isolation panel and outlet ground testing as required. Notifies building tenants of more serious maintenance issues. Coordinates maintenance that must be done by outside contractors. Coordinates clinic grounds maintenance including snow removal and landscaping. Attends training/stays current with appropriate federal, state and local codes, guidelines, rules and regulations as they pertain to the buildings that are managed. Augment current contract services by troubleshooting equipment concerns in between routine maintenance visits. Maintain and monitor record of when maintenance contracted services are due and completes or schedules with contractors to complete. Assist in development/revision of policies and procedures necessary to meet accreditation requirements. Conducts walk-through of building to assure that rules and regulations are being met during various building inspections. Relied on to work the hours scheduled.  Good attendance is necessary to assure the delivery of quality patient care on a consistent basis.
