A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Maintenance Reliability: Collaborate closely with both the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure that resources are effectively focused on increasing reliability across our facilities. Your responsibilities include identifying, implementing, and meticulously documenting maintenance and reliability best practices. Financial success is a priority, as you actively develop and manage the departmental budget. Leading By Example: As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, you have the privilege of setting the direction and policies for one of our manufacturing facilities. By promoting collaboration, respect, and continuous learning, you contribute to an environment where everyone thrives. Promoting Best Practices: Use lean manufacturing principles, take responsibility for identifying opportunities to eliminate costs and waste. By streamlining processes, optimizing spare parts inventory, and minimizing downtime, all contribute to a reliable and sustainable operation. Project Management: Lead and direct continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment, and production systems. You will ensure effective execution of projects by meeting program objectives, project budgets, and schedules. Collaboration is important with corporate engineering, contracted service partners, Plant Operations teams, and Quality teams. Strategy & Scorecards: You will partner with Global Engineering to deploy corporate technical business strategies aligned with plant strategies and performance goals. You will establish and ensure achievement of all function-specific Key Performance Indicators and work systems continuous improvement efforts.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Comprehensive managerial and technical background in a plant environment Project management, communication, budgeting, and excellent human relations skills Management experience in a technical capacity Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering/technical or other related field and a few years of relevant experience OR High School diploma/GED and extensive years of relevant experience Ability to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the operation to ensure improved collaboration and deliver results Substantial experience in SAP PM (SAP Super User a plus) OR a similar ERP system Experience implementing best in class maintenance programs and strategies (TPM, RCM, Planning/Scheduling, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance)
