Senior Maintenance Repair Worker - Facilities

Pay Range: $22.00 - 25.00

Shift: 1st

Hours: Typically 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, some flexibility required during the winter months. 

This is a full-time position within our manufacturing facility with opportunities for advancement!

Responsibilities:

Performs apprentice level skilled trade activities to ensure mechanical or structural integrity of equipment and facilities is maintained as one of the following: welder, fabricator, or drafter. General duties include mowing, snow removal, loading and unloading freight, general building maintenance - including operation of heavy equipment (Pay Loader, Fork Lift, Bobcat, etc.).Oversees corporate heating/cooling system - including conducting routine and as requested general maintenance.Assists with design and coordinates set up of furniture. Performs advanced carpentry projects including coordinating the build out of special projects as requested. Assists lower-level employees in performing activities directly related to ensuring the mechanical and structural integrity of facilities as directed by the higher-level employee and trade standards.Participates in and successfully completes training directed at increasing job-related trade skills as mandated by management/ supervisor.Assists and ensures all areas are returned to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition according to policy and procedure.Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalentYears of Related Experience: 5+ years related experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to interpret customer needs through strong communication and listening skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Solid ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write moderately complex reports and correspondence. Good ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Solid ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Must meet the Federal Department of Transportation eligibility requirements, including appropriate driver’s license and corresponding medical certification as a condition of employment for this position.DOT Card will need to be obtained if not already owned.
