WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A SR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, is responsible for the direction and supervision of the maintenance employees Under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, is responsible for all maintenance and repairs at the development. Assures that a responsible staff member is available to respond to emergency calls at all times. Apartment turnovers must produce units that are to be impeccably clean, mechanically in good working order and properly painted prior to the resident’s move-in. Common areas, such as laundry rooms, hallways, offices, shops, storage areas, refuse areas, and grounds must be clean at all times. Schedules routine janitorial tasks to ensure that the above is consistently maintained. Follows purchase order instructions established by the district/regional office. Solicits, reviews and recommends third-party contracts when so directed by the Chief Engineer or designee. Ensures that the Building Engines software is utilized for all mechanical Property Management tasks. COMPENSATION $28.93 an hour Local Union 1 Benefits Parking onsite Qualifications WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR You have at least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience with affordable housing experience preferred You’re able to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed and can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
