About You and this Role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Technician in Freeport, TX.

Position is responsible for provides the maintenance craft specific support to the plants in the areas of non-metallic inspection and non-metallic repair technologies. Participates on the inspection and maintenance team which supports reliability improvement across all Operations facilities. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities

Enables the people who manage and/or perform work in the field with the tools and information needed to perform their job effectively and efficientlyRequires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignmentsDeliver inspection activities related with non-metal, lining and FRP to achieve the GMISS compliance and company standards with safe operations and cost-effective mannersDevelop and / or review all inspection reports related with non-metal and FRP for the completeness meet with professional standard and qualityDeploy technologies and innovation to support inspection and repair activities in the areasComplete repair plans and provide technical input in completing Quality Control (QC) Plans with Plant Assessment Team (PAT)Deliver quality assurance for the repairs related with non-metal, lining and FRPParticipate in defining and recommending repair path for deficiency resolutionParticipate in Turnaround (TA) job and schedule review, resource planning and executionServes as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques in the other inspection, repairs and root cause investigations related with non-metal, lining and FRPProvide technical support to the responsible area audits and assessmentProvide technical support and solution / troubleshooting related with non-metal, lining and FRPWork cooperatively with others in the other functions, Zone Maintenance, Operations and the external suppliersSupport developing and maintaining Inspection MET (Most Effective Technology), if anyPerform on-site and / or shop inspections in person to assure the equipment integrityActively participate in Company Non-Metal Network / TST (Technical Solutions Team)

Requirements

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is requiredMinimum 5 years of experiences in the non-metal technology inspection and repairs including non-metal, lining and FRPMust possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
