Creativity - Stewardship - Impact - Integrity - Healthy Relationships Requirements What you will do: - Review and prioritize maintenance work orders to ensure timely and efficient repairs. - Plan daily work schedules for maintenance technicians, ensuring optimal resource allocation. - Assist in the development and improvement of a work order tracking system, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance activities. - Train and onboard new maintenance technicians, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance team skills. - Assist in project planning for maintenance and mechanical services projects, ensuring alignment with plant goals and timelines. - Request quotes for repair and replacement parts, tools, and equipment; manage vendor relationships for cost-effective solutions. - Maintain inventory of critical parts and recommend improvements for stocking levels and supply chain efficiency. - Partner with the Operations Supervisor and Engineer to conduct daily plant walk-throughs, identifying potential maintenance needs and ensuring equipment functionality. - Work hands-on alongside technicians to assist with repairs and project execution, providing advanced technical expertise as needed. - Collaborate with plant leadership to develop preventative maintenance schedules for critical equipment and ensure completion of PM tasks. - Plan and schedule weekly WO and PM’s and ensure the right parts are available on site. - Responsible for maintaining WO details and on hand inventory for part in the CMMS program. - Demonstrate company values in daily work interactions, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment. - Perform all other duties as assigned to support plant operations and equipment reliability. What you will need: - High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or certification in a related field is preferred. - 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including leadership responsibilities. - Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, automation, motors, and hydraulics. - Proven experience in managing work orders, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities. - Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar maintenance tracking systems. - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior technicians. - Strong organizational skills for inventory management and project planning. - Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA and company standards. - Basic knowledge of electrical (110V, 240V and 480V single and 3-phrase) required. - Pipe fitting, welding, air and electrical pump experience is preferred. - Knowledge of automation and process controls is a plus.
