Job Description
Shift: 1st shift, 4-day/10-hour rotating schedule, with shift differential. Flexibility for varied shifts as needed.
Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced, GMP manufacturing environment supporting the growing field of oligonucleotide-based therapeutics. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for manufacturing, utility, and laboratory equipment in a GMP environment.Coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance (PM), correctine maintenance, emergency repairs, spare parts management, and electronic asset tracking.Author and review GMP documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPAs.Support and troubleshoot systems using industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, BAS).Evaluate, inspect, and maintain fluid handling, thermal control, and electrical systems, including pumps, agitators, piping systems, and automated valves.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.Document maintenance activities accurately in compliance with regulatory requirements.Adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, lock-out/tag-out, and work permits as necessary.QualificationsRequired:
6+ years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing or a related field.Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong skills in fluid handling and thermal control systems, as well as controls and electrical troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including P&IDs, control drawings, wiring schematics, and equipment manuals.Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance.Effective communication skills with vendors, team members, and internal stakeholders.Preferred:
Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Trade certifications or related process equipment expertise.Experience supervising or coordinating group work activities.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment.Ability to work in an air purifying respirator as necessaryWork Environment:
Working around chemical fumes, airborne particles, caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, high voltage systems, and varying noise levels.Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace and environmental standards.Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least January 23, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $35.15 - $54.93/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
