Kimley-Horn has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a motivated Senior Managed Lanes/Tolling Project Manager to expand our Transportation (Tolling) practice in Atlanta, Georgia!
ResponsibilitiesHas an entrepreneurial mindset, creating a vision for growth in their own personal practice while contributing to the growth of our transportation engineering practice in the local Georgia market and beyond.Assists in marketing and business development efforts with our existing state DOT clients while developing and overseeing a personal practice at Kimley-Horn that encompasses the planning, design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of managed lanes facilities and tolling systems/infrastructure.Beyond serving our existing clients, has the ability to pursue their own passions, leads, and clients both locally as well as nationally.Leadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning, and strategyEstablishing attainable and measurable goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a Managed Lanes/Tolling practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their own projects, are responsible for project performance (quality and profitably), transition work over-time to qualified staff, develop and mentor staff at all levels, and act as a positive leader and mentor.
Creates a positive, collaborative, and team-focused environment that fosters employee growth both personally and professionally.Actively participates in and engages with the local and national managed lanes and tolling industry through trade organizations, conferences, and community events.The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their own practice/business within the Kimley-Horn.

10+ years of experience in the managed lanes/tolling industry that encompasses the planning, design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of managed lanes and tolling systems/infrastructure projects. Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Track record of successfully winning, managing, and delivering work in Georgia and the Southeast United StatesEstablished relationships with state DOTs and tolling agenciesStrong knowledge of tolling systems, equipment, and technologies, including electronic toll collection (ETC) and all-electronic tolling (AET).Proficiency in tolling industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Experience with tolling software, data analysis, and reporting tools.Demonstrated ability to manage transportation projects profitably within agency specificationsExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skillsStrong desire and ability to engage with clients to solve complex and challenging problemsAbility to effectively communicate at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff and efficiently and effectively direct resourcesDemonstrated ability to manage project quality and profitability Why Kimley-Horn?
