Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, 3D Design will lead the creation of 3D, technical specifications, and design for our proprietary hardline merchandise products.

Develop comprehensive technical specification packages for all direct-sourced hardline and accessory products Give creative direction and approvals for categories like licensed 3D, masks, décor and accessories from concept stage to pre-production, with a focus on brand integrity, age appropriateness, safety, market differentiation, construction, fabrication and monitoring appropriate quality Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, foster a high-performance culture by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and facilitating professional growth Address queries from factories and implement effective problem-solving strategies through the production process Create compelling product illustrations and concepts for presentation to buyers, collaborating closely with the merchandise and product development teams Communicate technical details and construction methods to manufacturing partners Conduct constant trend research across multiple avenues, such as format, materials, color, graphics and retail, to gauge key influences in the market. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field with a focus on 3D illustration and/Minimum 5 years at a Management level of Creative/Product Development Background in product development, 3D sculpting products, toys and decor Strong illustration skills, including the ability to depict human anatomy and stylized forms (e.g., zombies, monsters) using both traditional and digital techniques Expertise in modeling and sculpting both organic and hard-surface 3D models, including file preparation for 3D printing Advanced construction knowledge of products and components in regard to design and development for manufacturing Effective and proven communication with the ability to clearly communicate and provide creative direction. Must be a team player, problem solver with a self-starter attitude Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Maya, Lightwave 3D, Blender, Poser, ZBrush) is essential, with experience in a Mac-based environment preferred Experience in toy design and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus Availability to travel
