**Description** Position Summary: Manage SMC accounts (Sephora, Ulta, BM), oversee key account strategies, and maximize brand presence. Collaborate with retailer teams and internal departments to drive sales and execute retail activations. Act as the primary contact for Sephora, Ulta, and Blue Mercury, leading business reviews, negotiating agreements, and implementing strategies for sales growth and customer engagement. Proven track record in retail account management within the beauty industry and a passion for driving results through strategic collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the ED, Account Management, this role is crucial in building an omnichannel business by integrating brick & mortar and online retail partners into a consistent customer experience. Responsible for developing and collaborating on strategy, planning, and execution across all retail and Net deliverables. Strategic Approach + Responsible for delivering on brand account strategies and account performance to support growth and gain market share while partnering with Marketing, Sales, Education, Creative, Finance, Sales Operations. + Partner with Marketing to develop assortment strategy and translate global frameworks into locally relevant assortment guidelines by channel + Deep understanding of retailer dynamics (e.g., account dynamics and competitors’ actions) and local market nuances (i.e., localization needs) to provide input on product/category/merchandising/event opportunities, competitive landscape, consumer demographics and localization opportunities to create points of difference across accounts. + Develops full calendar of tailored objectives for retailer and retailer.com, leveraging overall brand category and marketing objectives. + Maintains sxs of retailer and branded events and activations to leverage for sales updates/commentary + Has strong retailer relationships to drive growth and scale within accounts. + Drive integration of brick & mortar and retailer.com into one consistent omnichannel customer experience. + Ensures strong visual presence in store, local market and R.com (eg: outposts, OOH ads, merchandising) + Ensures that the right marketing activities (in-store, co-op, digital/social, etc) support events, promos and other brand activities + Partner with Marketing to generate marketing calendar and plans for co-op campaigns and post campaign measurement. Deploy a digitally first mindset to support ecommerce marketing programs. + Partner with Field teams and education to communicate goals and changes. Financial: + Owns key P&L items for account and determines spend to maximize ROI and sales; held to monthly targets (retail sales, net sales, co-op, demo, freelance, promo, GWP, sets, capex) and shapes the execution of these items at the retailer + Participates in the LE process, including Retail Sales & Gross Shipments, returns and other financial estimates. Responsible for input on sales plans, explanation on variances and identifying R&O’s to plan. + Negotiates seasonal stock and sales plans alongside planner that drives data input for the development of the net and retail sales estimate + Leverage internal sales trends, market and consumers trends and develop accurate estimates for future sales by category and key subcategory. + Reviews account P&Ls seasonally in partnership with ED AM & Finance team to analyze outliers/ensure more profitable & productive doors + Negotiates overall demo (including freelance) investment with retailer and monitors productivity/effectiveness (e.g., hour utilization, open positions) monthly **Qualifications** Qualifications: + 8 years in prestige beauty/fragrance, department stores, or sales/retail business development. + Proven relationship-building skills and strong business acumen. + Financial skills and analytical thinking. + Drives monthly sales plans and key financial metrics. + Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills. + Strong project management and attention to detail. + Proficient in Microsoft Office. + Domestic travel required.
