Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations and allocate revenue accordingly. Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules and oversee the monthly revenue close process. Provide technical accounting guidance for new product launches and pricing models.Billing and Systems Management Oversee billing operations to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for subscription and usage-basedservices. Leverage expertise in NetSuite to optimize revenue management workflows and reporting processes. Partner with IT, Coudops and finance teams to enhance ERP and CRM integrations, driving processautomation and efficiency.Financial Reporting and Metrics Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for management and external stakeholders. Analyze revenue trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Track and report key SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn, and customer lifetime value.Audit and Compliance Support Ensure adherence to internal controls for revenue processes and collaborate on compliance efforts. Support external audits by providing detailed documentation and analyses for revenue accounts.Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration Manage and mentor a team of revenue accountants, fostering professional development and growth. Build and maintain a high-performing team, providing clear direction, feedback, and support. Collaborate with sales, legal, and customer success teams to evaluate revenue impacts of contracts,promotions, and renewals. Act as a strategic partner in the evaluation of pricing strategies and revenue-related initiatives.WHAT WILL YOU BRINGBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required. 8+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition and SaaS operations. Proven experience managing direct reports, with strong leadership and mentoring skills. Expertise in NetSuite, with the ability to leverage its functionalities for revenue management (ARM) andreporting. Deep knowledge of ASC 606, GAAP, and subscription-based revenue models. Experience with financial systems such as Zuora or Salesforce is a plus. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. Experience with audit processes and SOX compliance preferred.
