Summary\r

The Marketing team manages the acquisition and campaign strategy across Virgin Plus and Prepaid carriers including Lucky Mobile, PC mobile and No Name mobile.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of Acquisition Marketing professionals, focused on driving net subscriber and revenue growth of our Wireless business. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the strategic direction and execution of mobility marketing initiatives, encompassing the four Ps of marketing. This position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in driving substantial subscriber and revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies.

The successful candidate will report to the Director Acquisition Marketing and will work cross-functionally with partners throughout the organization including Brand, Retail, Digital, Pricing, Product, Legal, Sales enablement, Customer Experience, and Business Intelligence.

 

We are looking for a strategic thinker who has a strong business acumen, data-driven decision making, team leadership and passionate about learning and solving problems.

Key Responsibilities\rDevelop customer acquisition strategies to drive growth and optimize performance marketing initiatives across digital and traditional marketing channels Lead and implement multi-brand marketing campaigns, managing the marketing and sales funnel from end-to-end Manage quarterly planning and execution, working with multiple stakeholders across the business Lead successful go-to-market implementation for new launches and high drive campaign periods by identifying efficient workflows for effective project management and deliverables across teams Analyze data and customer behaviour to uncover insights, understand and identify the unique needs of this segment to effectively design initiatives, identify opportunities and recommend strategic shifts Utilize data analytics to measure campaign performance, track KPI’s and implement A/B testing for continuous improvement Strong presentation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to influence direction at the executive level Lead, inspire and develop a team of marketing professionals to continue to grow, be challenged and rewarded Critical Qualifications\r

•    Strong sports fandom accompanied by a passion for sports marketing and fan engagement.
•    College/University degree or equivalent; Business Marketing, Advertising and/or Business Strategy. MBA preferred.
•    5 yrs + experience in a Marketing role, with focus on brand, digital and acquisition marketing
•    Leadership, coaching and people management skills
•    Knowledge in media and sports industry trends, competition and customer buying habits
•    Proven experience developing both awareness and conversion based integrated marketing strategies across the consumer journey, including digital, traditional and out of home touch points
•    Understanding of product development lifecycles and processes
•    Experience with data and customer segmentation as the basis for discovering actionable insights
•    Ability to adapt to a demanding, rapidly changing work environment, set priorities and meet tight deadlines
