Description Amazon seeks a visionary, results-driven, and customer-obsessed Senior Leader to propel the growth of our Marketplace business in Japan. This pivotal role involves crafting and implementing innovative solutions that empower millions of global Selling Partners to thrive on Amazon Japan. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse and robust skill set, encompassing leadership development, analytical prowess, and exceptional business acumen. They must excel at "thinking big" while adeptly navigating the complexities of a large, fast-paced organization. Success in this role hinges on the ability to define and execute long-term business strategies, coupled with innovative problem-solving skills to address multifaceted challenges. This position demands a leader who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution, driving transformative change in the e-commerce landscape. Key job responsibilities · Grow the business by driving and implementing strategic initiatives to reach company’s financial goals. · Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features. · Partner with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, legal, marketing) to execute plan and deliver results. · Hire and develop a team of leaders who can launch, grow and run a new businesses. · Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management regarding progress and roadblocks. A day in the life Comprehensively manage the Selling Partner experience to cultivate a robust seller ecosystem and accelerate their growth through strategic program adoption. Collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to conceptualize, design, and implement country-specific features and solutions, while ensuring global scalability and relevance. Proactively identify and spearhead new opportunities to expand and enhance Amazon's Marketplace business, driving innovation and competitive advantage in the e-commerce landscape.
