\nRole Overview:
\nWe are seeking a hands-on Technical Architect / Lead with deep expertise in Spring Boot microservices and Azure Event Hub or similar cloud streaming architectures. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deliver scalable, event-driven solutions on Azure or similar clouds (AWS). This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, Team & architecture ownership, and the ability to guide teams through the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
\nArchitecture and Design
\n\n Architect and design microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot\n Build event-driven and streaming architectures using Azure Event Hub, Kafka, or similar platforms.\n Define integration patterns between producers and consumers, manage offsets, partitions, and checkpoints effectively.\n Design and implement secure RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication patterns.\n Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, App Services, and related cloud components.\n Develop reference architectures, reusable components, and best practice frameworks for microservices and event streaming.\n\nHands-on Development and Technical Leadership
\n\n Lead by example through hands-on coding, code reviews, and POC development.\n Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.\n Ensure high code quality, proper design patterns, and best practices are followed across teams.\n Work closely with DevOps teams to build automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.\n Conduct technical evaluations, architecture reviews, and participate in solution governance forums.\n\nLeadership and Delivery
\n\n Lead and mentor engineering teams through design, development, and deployment phases.\n Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, Support teams.\n Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.\n Conduct architecture reviews, POCs, and solution governance activities.\n\nPerformance, Reliability, and Optimization
\n\n Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of systems using Azure-native patterns.\n Optimize Event Hub throughput, partitioning, and consumer performance.\n Implement and maintain observability through monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Grafana, Azure Monitor, Application Insights.\n Troubleshoot and resolve production performance issues across distributed services.\n\n\n
Required Skills and Experience:
\n\n Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and RESTful API development.\n 3+ yrs. of proven expertise in Azure Event Hub, Kafka, or other event streaming platforms.\n Solid understanding of microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event sourcing.\n Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS).\n Working knowledge of Azure services: Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure Functions, App Services.\n Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.\n Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and system design skills.\n Strong collaboration skills across DevOps, Security, and Product teams.\n\n
