As a Senior Manager, Business Banking Sales Support: You will report to the Director, Business Banking Sales Support, and lead a team of two to create and maintain a portfolio of tools and programs that enable Sales activities in Business Banking delivery. This will range from tactical reporting, pipeline management, analytics to the development of fulsome sales strategies and campaigns for Business Banking. In addition, this team will support the Program Lending, Transformation and Small Business Teams with bringing to life their projects and initiatives. What you will do: Create and maintain (with the appropriate support of partners) a full suite of financial reporting, dashboards and Scorecards that satisfies multiple audiences – SVP, VP, RVP and Advisor levels. Develop analytic tools and support for Business Banking (with the appropriate support from partners) that allow for descriptive, predictive and prescriptive programs that can be leveraged.

Create initiatives and foster partner support by determining new sales opportunities through increased referrals to partners and better partnering with our branch network.

Leverage analytics for sales campaign development, next best product initiatives, retention and share of wallet expansion. Maintain a series of sales calls and webinars with the field, to support campaigns and new initiatives and maintain the required reporting and analytics for each. Execute and sustain Business Banking Sales Strategies, ranging from channel wide, to district specific, down to the advisor level. Work closely with the VPs of Business Banking, Program Lending and other partners to develop these programs. Monitor the diversification of sectors and industries through effective analysis of business banking portfolios in accordance with established risk management practices and policies. Support Business Banking leadership including: preparation and maintenance of the annual financial plan and forecast, assist with line of business and leadership reports, Business Banking Centres' quarterly forecasts and with new projects and new initiatives as they arise. Act as a subject matter expert around our Commercial Banking segment with regards to the Business Banking University (BBU) Training Program. Work with the team developing the BBU program to ensure that Commercial content is appropriate and meets the needs of our Frontline staff. This will also include assisting with ongoing BBU activities, such as designing and leading courses or webinars around Commercial Banking topics and subjects. Develop and maintain a portfolio of Business Development tools and resources for the network, including advisor and unit collateral, pitch-books, construction signs as well as industry specific resources such as COI network development, trade associations and system wide partnerships (i.e. OCC Affinity, ESG related organizations and others.) How you will succeed: 5+ years of business banking experience in a sales capacity, along with a post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or equivalent. Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance related.  Strong partnership & collaboration skills Effective research & presentation skills Ability to analyze & forecast data to maintain & produce valuable reporting, dashboards & financial plans Strategic mindset & a can-do attitude This role will have two required areas: Leadership – Effectively manage a two person team to generate the required output while creating a positive atmosphere and enhancing employee engagement. Motivate and inspire the team to delivery excellent service and support to Business Banking. Previous leadership experience is an asset. Business Banking Sales SME – The Senior Manager will have experience in Business Banking, and understand the role of the front line advisor, their challenges and how they have success. Further, they will understand the mindset and motivation of our Business Members. Current/previous experience as Relationship Manager is an asset. Join Us! This role is hybrid. Office Location is 75 Corporate Park Dr, St. Catharines. This role will also involve occasional travel to our Business Banking Centres across Ontario.
