Senior Manager, Business Data Operations

General Description:

The Senior Manager Business Data Operations will partner with Global business teams across BeiGene for building & maintaining a modern and scalable data platform. This position will report to the Associate Director, Commercial Data Management and will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, GTS, Business Planning & GTS organizations. This position will lead various initiatives involving onboarding, management & provisioning of master/ transactional data to help business teams achieve desired outcomes.

Essential Functions of the job:

Work closely with our Global business teams (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Clinical, OSI, GTS, COBA across US, Canada, Europe & New Markets) to understand & document their business needsCreate detailed Business Requirements Documents, including business rules, KPIs, metrics, underlying computation & supporting data workflows to depict the various integration touchpointsCarry out thorough Impact analysis before onboarding new data assets or implementing any changes in the platform & call out all dependencies & mitigation strategiesDevelop & implement Data management best practices, both for master & transaction dataset, to help maintain high level of integrity, trust & quality of dataDevelop Operations Support framework for ease of maintenance & increase sustainability, including SOPs, Data Dictionaries & Process BlueprintsImprove upon the existing Data Quality framework, which includes rules to manage key business processes for customer alignment, channel data (3PL/SP/SD/Voucher/Copay), patient journey, patient claims, VA sales & contracts managementSetup a testing & validation framework that ensures coverage across all functionality requirements, capabilities & business rulesPartner with data & implementation vendors, to ensure alignment on project objectives, scope, milestones & key success factorsStay current with data management capabilities & drive technology improvements to build sustainable processes for ingesting, storing & provisioning of dataPerform data analysis, generate new code per business needs, able to perform code debugging and guide vendors & internal teams on query optimization

Qualifications:

Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science or related field.5-8 years of Pharmaceutical industry Commercial operations or related experience building Enterprise Data Management platforms.Experience in implementing & support of Master Data & Data Management solutions is a must.Experience with Specialty Pharmacy data, Specialty Distributor data, Patient Hub data, VA data, CRM, Digital, MCM & Claims is a must.Excellent written / verbal communication skills and presentation and project management skills.Ability to coordinate needs assessments across the commercial & other business organizations, and an ability to deliver a comprehensive solution to those needs.Demonstrated ability to work well within a matrixed environment, and an ability to build solid relationships / make connections across the organization.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and solid business acumen with the ability to manage and provision large amounts of data to enable business analysis with high level of performance and trust.Must be able to identify operational weakness and implement corrective action / plan.Proven ability to grow and develop others.Proficient in SQL writing (Query Analysis & Optimization; Query building, etc.)

Salary Range: $136,000.00 - $181,000.00 annually

BeiGene is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
