A unique opportunity exists to join Visa and the INSA (India and South Asia) cluster, one of Asia Pacific's, and the world's, fastest growing commerce and digital payments ecosystems. Strong economic growth, rapid social and demographic change, proactive payments regulation and rapid acceleration of digital commerce make these markets some of the most exciting in the world.
The Strategy and Business Transformation function plays a key role in shaping Visa’s medium and long-term strategy in the markets, solving country-specific opportunities and challenges, in partnership with executives and business leaders across Visa’s organization. Initiatives would include but not be limited to market strategy, product strategy, multi-year planning, and organic / inorganic growth opportunities. The team is responsible for developing thought leadership and capturing emerging trends in the payments industry, cross pollinating best from INSA to the world and vice versa.
The team also supports cross-functional teams in executing that strategy and ensures successful ongoing business operations. The team partners with corporate functions within Visa to develop and enhance best practices leveraging the full suite of expertise that the business requires, such as Marketing, Legal, Finance, Technology, Risk, People, Client Services and Communications.
What a Senior Manager, BPO - INSA does at Visa:
This role is responsible for a wide range of activities required to support the INSA Head of Strategy and Transformation in delivering against market and regional priorities. The role is based in Mumbai and provides an excellent opportunity to gain a broad strategic overview of Visa’s business across INSA markets. A highly technical and collaborative role, it operates in close partnership with cross functional teams to deliver on business priorities, including the Asia Pacific Interchange Team to ensure timely and strategic application of interchange programs. Operating in a complex and constantly evolving environment, the role holder balances championing best practices while driving enhancements and actively seeking out new solutions to complex problems and opportunities. The role requires a mix of strategic, business and technical knowledge providing the role holder flexibility and significant learning opportunities in the dynamic digital payments’ ecosystem. This is a senior level individual contributor role.
Specific responsibilities span across the following key areas:
Drive deeper engagement on strategic priorities across the markets and cluster to ensure success of key areas of the business
Support the development, program management, and execution of specific business critical initiatives at the market / cluster level
Become an interchange implementation subject matter expert with deep knowledge of both Visa and industry context
Actively collaborate across AP Interchange team and functions across markets to support the execution of strategic plans leveraging interchange in line with corporate priorities.
Develop and create frameworks for new cluster initiatives, depending on business needs. For any new initiatives, articulate context / objectives clearly, build relevant operational / process flows, ensure alignment across all stakeholders, including senior leaders, and execute effectively.

QualificationsA strategic, technical and execution focused role, we are looking for an individual who brings experience, a curiosity about payments, is results-driven, and client focused. As a candidate, you should have:
Bachelor’s Degree in business & economics, finance, engineering or similar field with focus on strategic and quantitative modules
7 – 10 years of experience in the payments industry, financial services or consulting
Analytical and quantitative skills; able to resolve complex business problems with well-structured analysis
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information and apply it to business solutions
Strong analytical and quantitative ability with proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets using Excel and Access. Ability to communicate complex analysis in a strategic manner using Power Point and other presentation tools
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information and apply to business solutions where little or no precedence exists. Be able to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organized manner
Willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with multi-tasking and changing priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills in negotiating and influencing internal and external stakeholders
Organized self-starter, result oriented, and a passion for scaling new products
