Position Summary:

Kemper is seeking a Senior Claims Casualty Manager. In this role, you will manage a team of skilled and highly motivated casualty claims personnel.

Position Responsibilities:

Hiring staff including Team Managers and AdjustersDirect supervision of Team ManagersAssisting and mentoring Team Managers in on-going casualty training in development of staffMonitoring performance of teams compared to objectivesReviewing authority request in excess of Team Manager authority, all files with catastrophic injuries, authority for coverage investigations, completion of Department of Insurance complaint responsesAnswer customer calls requesting assistance beyond the Team Manager’s authoritySetting and maintaining best practices expectations of all staff through strong proactive leadership.

Position Qualifications:

8+ years of claims or functional area experience5+ years of supervisory experience preferredRequires a college degree or equivalent work experienceGeneral computer competency and ability to efficiently and effectively utilize e-mail, internet software spreadsheets and word processing technology programs including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) programsSponsorship is not accepted for this opportunityThe range for this position is $95,900 to $159,700. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.  This job is also eligible for our Kemper benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)  This position will be based onsite in our Henderson, NV office.
