Role & Responsibilities
To develop and execute consumer marketing activity to achieve financial, in-market, and brand health objectives for Samsung Televisions. This role is directly responsible for crafting and executing all aspects of marketing communications campaign development, partnership strategy, activations/experiential, and ensuring execution excellence across all comms channels. The position will also serve as a primary marketing liaison for the Media, Digital Marketing, Shopper Marketing, and Inter-Agency Teams to ensure consistent execution across all consumer touchpoints
Strategy Development & Execution
Lead the development and execution of the consumer marketing strategy to achieve financial, in-market, and brand health objectives of Samsung Core (Neo QLED, QLED, OLED and Lifestyle (Frame, Terrace, Premiere, Sero, Serif) TVs.
Develop the marketing & creative strategy, communications framework, and messaging architecture for national campaignsBuild integrated marketing programs to support strategic product launches and brand building initiatives to drive awareness, brand desire and preferenceGain a deep understanding of the products, market opportunities and challenges, brand objectives, and financial objectivesWork with the Consumer & Shopper Marketing Insights (CSMI) team to deliver a learning roadmap and turn piercing insights into actionPartner with Product Marketing to develop programs that support product launches and on-going business needsWork with the Partnerships team to identify, negotiate, and nurture foundational marketing partnerships that drive the marketing objectives of the brandGain alignment from all stakeholders including Executive Management, IM Management, Product MarketingCampaign Development & Execution
Lead the development of brand/product campaigns, from brief to execution.
Initiate creative and IMC briefs that drive communications development & implementation acrossOversee the creative development and production processes for major integrated marketing campaigns supporting product launches and strategic initiativesPartner with direct, extended, cross-functional, and agency teams to execute communication plans across all communication channelsPartner with the digital and channel marketing teams to drive best-in-class execution across all consumer and shopper touchpointsLocalize assets developed by the global integrated marketing team for use in local campaigns and activationsMarketing Program Management
Perform day-to-day management of budgets and own the financial approval process.
Create and submit project proposals into bid management systemTrack approvals and suggest and approve vendorsActively manage portfolio budget, tracking all accruals and changes/updates. Prepare updates to finance and managementManage marketing assets, ensuring availability of critical assets to partner internal teams, agencies and retailersProvide on-going campaign recap/results and recommend optimizations to improve ROISkills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of marketing/brand experience in major consumer tech, CPG, and marketing services organizationA Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of marketing/brand experience in a major consumer tech, CPG, marketing services organization or an MBA and at least 6 years of job fit experienceExperience in strategic planning and world-class marketing executionExperience distilling complex marketing strategies into clear, cogent briefsNimbleness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demanding timelinesKnowledge of how marketing activities impact a P&L and have financial disciplineSharp insight into advertising executionDigital savvy; good working knowledge of digital and social mediaAbility to manage and mentor direct reports, cross-functional teams, and external resourcesAbility to navigate large, complex organizations and manage through conflicting prioritiesExcellent verbal and written skillsProficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, ExcelLess than 5% Travel#LI-RL1
