Senior Manager, Contract Pricing and Analytics

The Sr. Manager, Contract Pricing and Analytics, is a cross-functional business partner developing and implementing pricing and contracting strategies for inline, launch, and pipeline products to support brand planning, forecasting and ensuring product access aligned with Company financial objectives.

The position will be part of a team providing a broad range of solutions and services across multiple payer channels (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D, Federal Accounts) and trade channels (Wholesaler, Specialty Pharmacy, Retail Pharmacy, Group Purchasing Organization, Specialty Distributor).  The position will report to the Associate Director, Contract Development.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Gross-to-Net oversight through facilitation with relevant field and home office partners when evaluating contract proposals Perform customer level strategic analysis that informs current and future budgets/forecasts/LRP Support the development of channel and customer level pricing strategies that align with brand objectives Implement brand pricing and contracting strategies throughout the product lifecycle that align with optimal market performance Stay abreast of macro trends in the healthcare environment that potentially impact current and/or future product pricing, contracting and associated strategies across product portfolio Design and implement contracting evaluation analytics for pricing and contract strategies and proposal development.  Develop and implement performance metrics to support optimal pull-through of contracts Monitors existing customer contracts through development and implementation of performance methodologies, tools, etc.; includes identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business/science/healthcare.  Master’s degree preferred 8+ years of strategic analytics experience, preferably in pharmaceutical payer and/or trade contracting

Preferred Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

Knowledge of the healthcare industry and the role contracts play in the pharmaceutical ecosystem Experience supporting a sales and/or account management team preferred Ability to develop effective / collaborative working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.  Ability to understand business requirements, propose solutions, gain alignment and execute Analytical and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to gather, understand, evaluate information from various sources  Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service Ability to coordinate and influence the efforts of cross-functional teams Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent and, occasionally, competing initiatives Understanding of industry code of conduct and ethics
