The successful candidate will join a dynamic and high-performing Internal Communications team that thinks strategically and executes at a high level to support our fast-growing company -- where colleagues are passionate about their work and our mission to bring important new medicines to patients in need. Internal Communications is part of the Corporate Affairs organization, which is focused on strengthening Regeneron’s reputation by developing strategies and programs that (1) distinguish our science, medicines and patient focus, (2) sustain culture and drive employee engagement, and (3) advance and differentiate our corporate responsibility commitments. This role will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications supporting the Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) business.
This person will collaborate with IOPS leaders and their teams on key functional internal communications strategies and lead their execution to support achieving functional and business-wide outcomes. The person in this role will also own the execution of the internal communications strategy for the IOPS business transformation initiatives globally.
A Typical Day might look like this:
Advise IOPS leaders and their teams on strategic internal communications in support of their key business outcomes. Develop and execute those plans in partnership with their respective operational business leader and/or functional HRBP.
Support the development and own the execution of a strategic communications plan supporting the business outcomes of the IOPS business transformation initiative, the Forward5, which is focused on advancing business processes and automation in our operations.
Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to identify stories based on project successes and milestones.
Create multi-media content to be used across IOPS communications channels to keep employees informed of progress and inspired to participate when asked.
Regularly update and improve the Forward5 internal webpage.
Maintain and improve manager communications tools and templates.
Manage the IOPS internal content calendar and story flow.
Ensure a regular (weekly line-up) of content from across IOPS key functions and strategic initiatives in collaboration with IOPS Comms team members.
Collaborate with the strategic content lead for our company intranet to identify IOPS stories that could be relevant to a global audience.
Manage a freelance writer in support of internal communications content development. Work with internal/external design partners.
Support the Senior Director, Coporate Communications, in supporting the communications of the IOPS EVP as needed, including Quarterly Business Update Meetings and manager meetings.
Support the coordination and execution of select enterprise global events, including quarterly all-employee forum and annual global patient event.

Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have a BS/BA in corporate communications, journalism, or a related field. 10+ years of communications experience. 2+ years of communications experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Demonstrated effectiveness in strategic communications planning, project management and event planning. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
