Senior Manager, Cost Optimization & Raw Materials Management
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
* This position may be based in NYC, Amsterdam, or Hong Kong.
The key focus of this role is to develop and improve end-to end costing processes and tools with global stakeholders, mitigate risk and drive profitability. This role will drive and identify opportunities for cost optimization and support business teams in realizing benefits. This individual will bring both strategic and operational experience in costing and raw materials with the ability to work with global leadership and collaborate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ **Profitability: Develop and improve** end-to-end costing process and tools for PVH in partnership with stakeholders (e.g. Tech). **Identify and define** initiatives for cost optimization and material management.
+ **Business Solutions Development: Drive** business requirements and solution design for costing process, profitability reporting and raw material management. **Steer and influence** cross functional teams to define business case development and benefits realization.
+ **Analytics: Define and Align** KPI’s with global business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve profitability through cost drivers, open costing, raw materials quotations, global vendor allocation and landed costs optimization. **Drive creation of global** profitability dashboards with business stakeholders and secure implementation and training for these tools.
+ **Purchasing Guidance: Evolve and Own** the internal tool for macro guidance on commodities, cost drivers, and recommendations on purchasing. **Responsible** for securing understanding of macro guidance tool in organization and guiding various functions in using macro guidance from goal setting to cost negotiations.
+ **Raw Material Strategy: Create** raw material data foundation, system solution, and reporting. **Drive** L2 strategy creation and follow up in collaboration with Traceability, Corporate Responsibility, Supply & Raw Material teams.
+ **Supplier Tiering and Scorecarding Program: Initiate and drive** L2 supplier tiering program creation across all brands & regions and define the right metrics to measure progress.
+ **Connectivity: Foster collaboration and information sharing** with various functions from Supply, Finance, Global Merch, Tech, Data analytics to achieve costing and raw material management initiatives
**INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS**
**Internal & External Contacts:**
+ Work across all brands, functions and regions
+ Garment vendors and material suppliers and other external sources as relevant (e.g. macro cost data providers, tools / system vendors and manufacturing experts)
+ Oversea traveling is required
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
**Education & Experience:**
**Experience**
+ At least 10 years of experience in relation to apparel, textile manufacturing, raw material, sourcing or retail industry with costing, consulting, or industrial engineering related area.
+ Function knowledge on global manufacturing practices and costing preferred.
+ Managing and implementing process or efficiency improvement projects and initiatives is preferred.
+ Familiar with working with data and analytics.
+ Prior working experience with global matrix organization is preferred.
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Textile, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
+ Graduate or professional qualifications in a related area of study are highly preferred.
