Join Our Team: Country Safety Lead

Pfizer Global Research and Development is seeking a dedicated and strategic leader to join our Worldwide Medical & Safety (WMS) division as the Philippines Country Safety Lead. This role is pivotal in leading, managing, and providing strategic direction to the country pharmacovigilance team, ensuring the safety and efficacy of Pfizer products.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Philippines Drug Safety Unit.

Serve as the primary contact for the safety Business Line within the Philippines.

Ensure compliance with Pfizer standards and international/local regulations.

Develop strong partnerships within the country and above-country functions.

Represent Pfizer in local Industry Associations and other external groups, as appropriate.

Manage resources and oversee pharmacovigilance partners both in-country and ex-country, as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in medicine or life sciences, or equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance, clinical research, or product development.

In-depth knowledge of national/regional regulatory legislation and guidelines.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.

Proficiency in English and good understanding of medical/scientific terminology.
