About the Role:DoorDash is seeking an experienced crisis management and business continuity professional to join our Global Safety and Security team. You will work with Global Safety and Security leadership to build a multifaceted crisis management and resilience program across multiple business verticals. We are looking for high-output production and leadership over the development, implementation, and execution of company-wide crisis management, continuity, and recovery plans. You will play an essential part in the growth and expansion of DoorDash operations. You will work with the Global Safety and Security Leadership Team and senior real estate, facilities, legal, human resources, communications, finance, and business partners.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Directly influence business development and guide crisis management and business continuity operations. Guide functional teams and stakeholders through the crisis and incident management process, including crisis activation, through resolution. Help develop emergency management, crisis management, and business continuity programs. Use your experience building, implementing, and driving the execution of Crisis Management and Resiliency programs. Help build comprehensive programs from the ground up. Lead in identifying the potential implications of crisis events and/or critical incidents. Develop and facilitate table tops with cross-functional team leads to ensure readiness for critical scenarios. Guide situational understanding of risks for the business. Develop operating procedures and program documentation. Partner with internal customers and teams to reduce loss and increase profitability. Establish and lead working groups that meet to understand strategies, roadmaps, and projects and advise on risks and actions to be taken. We're excited about you because… You have a bachelor’s degree in business continuity, emergency management, or similar fields. You have 10+ years of crisis management and business continuity experience. You have 5+ years of experience leading a team. You have Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), or other crisis, emergency, or professional certification. You have experience leading supply chain, micro-fulfillment, retail, or corporate office crisis management and business continuity strategies and operations. You have experience building, implementing, and measuring risk. You have experience leading projects from design to successful completion. You understand and participate in tactics, operations, and strategy and excel at execution in service of a larger mission objective. You have experience handling discrete information and working with confidential data. You have experience using technology and data resources for the analysis of loss. You take radical ownership of your work and performance You have experience with loss mitigation strategies. You have a very high level of execution and can work independently and as part of a team. You can travel as required.We expect this position to be filled by 1/3/2025.

CompensationThe successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
