Introduction This position provides dedicated, onsite consulting support to a retail division. You will lead all client initiatives related to customer centric retailing and leveraging customer insight for decision making. The ideal candidate will possess both a deep consulting and analytic background that enables them to derive actionable insights and drive engagement with category management teams and division leadership. S/he should be a self-starter who is prepared to execute against a strategic plan to consistently deliver on targets and see tasks through to execution. In this client facing role, you will serve as the local, onsite customer insight champion, working with category management and division leadership on a daily basis. As a key member of the retail team, your support will include utilizing SymphonyAI tools. The ability to generate insights and partner with the divisions to drive value from those insights is vital to the success of the role. This person must be a proficient communicator who can work independently or with groups to achieve optimal performance. Job Description KEY ACTIVITIES Essential Functions Support client objectives to improve their overall business by driving customer loyalty and sales Coach merchant teams to use customer insight in their day to day decision-making Provide actionable insights and recommendations backed by a fact-base Utilize BI tools including Symphony reports to help answer retailer business questions Partner with internal and external CPG focused groups on key initiatives Train clients on use of SymphonyAI tools and insights Support all key business strategies as identified by client Additional Duties Participate in key cross functional projects that cut across retail team(s) Participate in development of best practices, training and reference materials Contribute to quality control and validation of all reporting and troubleshooting data and software issues as needed Actively participate in and assist with preparations for team and client meetings as requested About Us SymphonyAI is building the leading enterprise AI SaaS company for digital transformation across the most critical and resilient growth industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, financial crime prevention, manufacturing, media, and IT service management.
