Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $131,600.00 - $219,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior Manager of the Cybersecurity Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Acquisition Governance will lead and coordinate all aspects of the Cybersecurity M&A process, including pre/post-acquisition cybersecurity due diligence, remediation oversight, and cyber program monitoring of the acquired entity during periods of integration.

During times of inactivity, this individual will assist the Customer Cybersecurity Support team to support Cox legal and sales teams review and negotiate contractual cybersecurity provisions within customer RFPs and non-standard contracts regarding the security and compliance of Cox Business products and services.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Drive collaboration and partnership in the execution of the cybersecurity M&A activities (e.g., due diligence through integration).Communicate and escalate cyber risks identified during M&A cyber diligence period and establish integration outcomes, remediation requirements, and target dates.Monitor the status of cyber integration (post-M&A diligence), providing recommendations and guidance to teams implementing security controls.Establish monitoring plans, metrics, and status reports to track program integration performance.Attend Security Review Committee meetings to review the status of the cyber program maturity of acquired entity.Support legal and sales by reviewing and negotiating contractual cybersecurity and compliance provisions within commercial customer RFPs and non-standard contracts.Provide subject matter expertise to legal, sales, and additional boundary partners on the applicability of cybersecurity provisions and/or compliance requirements for Cox commercial products and services.Excellent soft skills such as: interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.Strong collaboration skills to effectively drive understanding among cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Minimum

BA/BS degree in related discipline (i.e. Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems.) with 6 years of experience in a related field.The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 6years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience; or 12 years’ experience in lieu of a degreeExcellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.Proven ability to drive consensus and collaboration among many diverse teams, individuals and functional groups to achieve desired business results.Ability to effectively communicate, present relevant conclusions, and recommendations and explain to executives and top managementExperience managing budgetary responsibilities and capital constraintsTrack record of working effectively with all levels of a typical large organization within a matrix structureExperience escalating risk issues to senior technology or company leadershipAt least one relevant industry certification – CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CPA

Preferred

Subject Matter Expertise in security frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SSAE 16 SOC1/SOC2/SOC3, and PCI Data Security Standard.Experience in the telecommunications, financial services, defense or government industries desired.Big four audit/consulting background.
