Purpose:
This role is responsible for driving excellence in shop floor workforce management within the China Distribution Centers. This role focuses on optimizing DC shop floor workforce efficiency, enhancing cost-effectiveness, and fostering advanced partnerships with outsourced labor vendors. By leveraging strong analytical skills, the senior manager will develop strategies for process improvement, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and support operational leaders in effective labor planning. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in aligning vendor performance with organizational goals and driving operational success.
Responsibilities:
DC Workforce Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to enhance workforce efficiency on the DC shop floors. Closely support DC operation leaders in evaluating labor planning effectiveness and optimizing the use of outsourced labor. Analyze labor costs and vendor pricing structures to identify opportunities for cost efficiencies. Drive piece rate model implementation with outsourced vendor to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with DC operation leaders during mega sales events to manage and optimize the outsourced labor force by assessing market conditions, evaluating supplier performance, coordinating labor demands, and resolving issues promptly, ensuring seamless on-site operations to support business sales targets.Outsourced Labor Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with outsourced labor vendors, ensuring alignment with company standards and driving excellence in service delivery for distribution centers. Participating into tendering process, contract and SLA negotiation to select the most suitable vendors to support adidas to achieve business goals and secure favorable terms for adidas. Monitor and report vendor performance against established KPIs and SLAs, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans to ensure vendor performance excellence. Ensure vendors comply with labor laws, safety regulations, and adidas Values and company policies, addressing compliance issues promptly and effectively. Oversee the vendor payment process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments while optimizing financial workflows. Mentor and develop the vendor management team by promoting adidas values and best practices, fostering a win-win culture, and cultivating a productive workforce committed to continuous improvement.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong business acumen in logistics industry Proven ability of labor management during mega sales event or brand campaign in China Strong knowledge in labor laws and regulations. Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities effectively. Demonstrated ability of responsiveness with speed and quick adaptation in navigating matrixed organization. Proficiency in labor force management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. 5 years and above of experience in intensive labor force management or labor vendor management, preferably in the apparel and footwear industry, with proven experience of work in B2C business environment.
