In this role you will be responsible for creating the strategic and execution framework across assigned pillars providing clear visibility to key stakeholders on the functional integrated plan (aligned to the strategic priorities of Western Union) whilst tracking team deliverables so that we achieve/exceed on our commitments and metrics.
Role Responsibilities
Manage tools to provide the organization with insights into consumer behavior, market reactions, and competitive insights needed to support strategic decision-making across multiple service categories and brands. Provide strategic planning and disciplined program/project management to ensure proper resource allocation and return on investment for strategic investments across the function. Play a key role in all strategic planning processes including being a key participant on behalf of the department and Ability to act as a proxy in strategic decision-making for the executive leader, where appropriate. Key areas of responsibility will include developing specific strategic frameworks with the teams that are driving execution so that we deliver to an integrated plan & KPIs, risks are identified ahead of time and a cohesive narrative is shared with key stakeholders on a regular /as-needed basis. Represent head of the function in both internal settings and provide financial management oversight & support and assist in decision-making to ensure the department is executed in the most efficient and lean way. Support leadership/teams on cross-company initiatives and lead strategic projects, as identified by the executive leader.Role Requirements
Bachelors in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Math. 7-10 years’ experience, or equivalent with leadership experience. Experience with data, segmentation and analysis required Demonstrated leadership experience with strict deadlines and performance metrics Strong communication skills, self-motivation and results-oriented approach Experience working in large organizations English Proficiency is a must.We make financial services accessible to humans everywhere.
