We are seeking a talented individual to join our Customer & Growth team at Mercer to drive digital experience for Mercer Super. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least two to three days a week in the office.
Senior Manager, Digital Strategy & Product
As the Senior Manager, Digital Strategy & Product at Mercer Super, you will be pivotal in building a digital strategy for Mercer in Super. The role focuses on embedding the disciplines of digital product management and continuous improvement. As well as coordinating a cross-functional team to steer in the same strategic direction.
Reporting directly to the Head of Online & Customer Decisioning, you will lead a team of digital product managers, specialists, and designers to drive the development and continuous enhancement of a portfolio of online platforms, which serve the needs of our members, advisers, and employers.

We will count on you to:
Define and drive the product vision and strategy for our digital experiences, ensuring they deliver value to our customers, members, and partners and support business growthLead and mentor a team of digital product managers, specialists, and designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in executionOversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualisation to launch, optimisation, and retirement of digital products and features.Conduct market research, analyse competitor offerings, and stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovationChampion the customer experience (CX) across all digital products, ensuring seamless customer journeys and high usability standards.Define key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor product performance, and collaborate with the digital production team to execute A/B testing and usability testing and use data-driven insights to continuously improve product features and functionality.Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetBuild strong relationships with key organisational stakeholders, including senior management, to align priorities, gain support, and drive consensus on digital product initiatives to ensure product decisions are aligned with business goals and customer needs.Ensure all digital products comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, collaborating closely with legal and compliance teams as necessary.What you need to have:
10+ years of experience in digital product management or similar role, particularly management of apps and secure portals.Solid/proven experience in managing technology to deliver to customer and business outcomesConsumer digital experience in a superannuation or financial services industry preferredSolid/proven experience in strategy development and implementationStrong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skillsExperience in usability and customer-focused designPassion for building great products to solve customer and business problemsExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Strong organisational and project management skillsSkilled at building strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholdersKnowledge of the Adobe suite of products Adobe Cloud, Target & Analytics a plusWhy join our team:
