Proficiency in designing parts in Plastics & sheetmetal design intended for the Refrigerator product and , its processes and materialsProficient knowledge of fundamental engineering principles and tools to verify design for assembly/ Reliability/ Manufacturability/ SafetyProject Management – Ability to lead/close multiple projects at the same timeExpert in GD&T, Design Standards, variation analysisConceptual & Analytical Skills with Expert in project planning & management.Strong consumer orientationAbility to interpret Simulation / Test results.Very Strong communication and presentation skillsProficient in APQP, OPEX/Six Sigma methodologies / Lean tools and practices.MANAGERIAL
Exposure/experience of working in a global engineering team environmentTeam player, flexibility in adapting to quickly changing business task/project priorities.Good business communication (written/verbal) and Presentation skills.Structured and self organizedIntercultural sensitivityAbility to coach, support and direct the engineers in subgroupsYour responsibilities will includeKey Deliverables:
Release Product / Subsystem / Module / Component designs & drawings as per project targets.Product Design tools - Concept Selection Matrix, DFMEA, Tolerance Stack Ups, DVP etc.Design Validation & Verification Reports - Lab requests, Prototyping requests, Simulation requests as required in the project.Project Management Tools - Project Schedule, Scope & Risk Management Documents.Documented knowledge of design guides, key suppliers and subsystem roadmaps.IP creation with innovation centric mindsetDevelop knowledge documents and reuse of knowledge & toolsLead to develop a deeper understanding of the product/packaging attributes, Conventional and Non-conventional Manufacturing processes , Deal with different type Industries, marketplace & competition to create innovative product solutions working with Global Technology centers, Vendors, Manufacturing, Engineering, product validations and Procurement to implement projects in production.Drive projects using product development processes as they need through cross-functional team(s).Develop the best practices of project management and work package management techniques.Ensure comprehensive scoping of projects/ ideas, planning to enable execution of agreed plans and achieve cost targets.Lead & own cross functional projects and coordinate with Internal and external stakeholders.Document architectural trade offs and learnings.Project scoping based on engineering and cross functional requirements and physics of problem.Application of Technical tools:
