The Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture – Automation Strategy, is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic and technical direction of our automation initiatives within Networks (Wireless and Wireline), Infrastructures, and Cloud. This visionary leader will drive the automation strategy, focusing on TM Forum ODA and TM Forum Autonomous Networks, to support Bell's transformation from a Telco to a Tech Co. By leading the architecture, design, and implementation of automation frameworks and solutions, you will enhance operational efficiency, optimize costs, and accelerate innovation. Additionally, you will lead a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and align these efforts with the organization’s vision.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute automation strategies that align with the company's vision of transitioning from a Telco to a TechCo.Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and efficient automation solutions.Create and maintain comprehensive automation architecture frameworks and standards.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of architects and engineers.Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.Ensure alignment of team objectives with business goals and strategic initiatives.
Automation Management:
Oversee the implementation of automation frameworks, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.Develop abstraction layers to simplify and unify the management of diverse automation resources.Implement advanced security measures adhering to Zero Trust principles.
Integration & Collaboration:
Achieve seamless integration and consistent management across multiple network and cloud environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation initiatives with business objectives.Communicate automation strategies, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Observability & Automation:
Establish effective monitoring and observability practices to ensure proactive management of automation performance and health.Streamline onboarding processes and automate deployments to enhance the automation experience for users.Critical Qualifications\r
10+ years of experience in automation architecture, IT services, or related disciplines, with at least 4 years of leadership experience.Proven track record in developing and implementing technological strategies (ideally automation) in a large-scale enterprise setting.Proven experience in the telecommunications industry.Deep understanding of TM Forum ODA, TM Forum Autonomous Networks, and related technologies.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving strategic goals.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively engaging with all levels of the organization, from teams to executives.Strategic mindset with strong technical, business, and financial acumen, including the ability to help shape automation business cases.Well-connected within the global automation ecosystem, staying informed on industry trends and best practices.Passion for learning, innovation, and driving continuous improvement.Bilingual candidates preferred.
