The Senior Manager, Travel and Events will lead the team responsible for the firm’s internal events program, working with internal teams and Events team members to set event budgets, plan and execute timelines and ensure consistency of processes and messaging for firm events. The Senior Manager, Travel and Events will build and maintain relationships with vendors to manage the firm’s program and individual events. They will work with the Events team to identify and pioneer innovative event ideas, creating efficiencies and practices to realize cost savings and produce consistent internal firm events.

Responsibilities:

1. Coaching of Events team members; oversee firm internal events programs, supporting Event Managers and Event Associates

2. Planning of Firm, BU, and office events/activities. Manage aspects of event planning process: budget, travel & accommodations, attendance, venue sourcing, registration, mobile app, logistics planning, onsite staffing, etc.

3. Execute event details through Cvent and other platforms: websites, registration, mobile app, budgets, etc.

4. Manage set-up and delivery of in-person, digital events and hybrid events

5. Maintain vendor and internal relationships

Qualifications:

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

2. 8+ years of experience. Experience with Cvent system and event planning required

3. Intermediate level proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

4. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

5. Strong ability to build relationships

6. Exemplary customer service skills

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask/work on multiple projects

8. Travel up to 25%
