Senior Manager, Events & Experiences:
The Senior Manager - Events & Experiences will be responsible for developing and leading the regional tradeshow, corporate event and experiences strategy for the Ingredients & Specialties business. This entails working collaboratively with business leaders, Marketing Managers, customers, suppliers and vendors to create unique experiences that drive both reputation and commercial success. The Senior Manager will have to lead through influence in the cross-functional execution of programs and projects assigned.
What You'll Do:
Develop regional strategy, budgeting, promotion and project management needed for execution of commercial tradeshows. This will include overseeing matrixed reports responsible for on-the-ground execution of those events in coordination with Regional Marketing Lead. Build global Division approach to supplier and customer experiences, supporting sales and product management teams in building relationships with key stakeholders through a mix of events. Directly overseeing regional execution with advising other regional counterparts of standard processes. Oversee development and execution of technical events and experiences alongside Senior Manager, Content Marketing, Solution Center staff, technical teams and Industry Marketing Managers. Oversee executive and philanthropic events for the Division, supporting Corporate events as needed.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science degree required; Preferably in events management
8+ years’ experience managing events in a corporate environment
Experience working in a role where leading through influence has been key to success
Experience supporting business growth initiatives in a B2B environment.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and standard processes in marketing and measurement.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while successfully handling multiple projects at the same time.
Proven team leadership skills.
