Senior Manager, Finance, East Asia
Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite

About the job:

Provide insights, analysis and value add reporting to the East Asia Leadership team.Process management and support for the forecasting and budget cycles Be the main contact point for APAC internal controls and compliance teams, and to work on ad-hoc projects (as needed).Work with country finance teams to optimize internal controls, and to ensure governance and compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.Drive continuous improvements and support change across the region .Management of the month-end and quarter-end reporting processes.Lead and support key projects .

What you will be doing:

Reporting & Business Planning

Lead consolidation of core financial information across markets.Manage Financial Planning & Reporting Process for the region, including Flash, Projections, Budget and Strat Plan.Provide analysis of monthly results (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow), including reporting on other business performance metrics.Monitor and analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and cashflow.Produce value adding reports and analysis to management and business leaders.Prepare presentations to APAC and East Asia management.

 

Business Partnering

Develop financial models and simulate go-to market business cases to support strategic initiatives.Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.Assists with special projects, including acquisition activity and strategic partnerships, as required.

Process Management & Improvements

Identify and execute improvements to the planning and reporting processes.Strengthen internal controls across East Asia.Propose and develop new planning solutions.Establish structured communications with management and markets.Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies.Drive quality control of all deliverables.

Leadership / People Management

Coach, develop and lead team of direct and indirect reports by providing developmental and growth opportunitiesBuild and maintain exceptional employee engagement throughout the teamConduct annual performance reviews & bi-annually interim performance reviews

Who are we looking for:

University degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.Professional Accounting Qualifications such as CPA, Chartered Accountant or MBA is preferred.Strong understanding of USGAAP and/or IFRS required.Risk management and internal control experience.Minimum of 10 years working in finance roles with increasing responsibilities and proven output.Experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals a plus.Strong at relationship managementCommitment to excellence and high standardsStrong knowledge of forecasting, financial modeling and financial reportingExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflowProficient in Excel, Words and PowerpointVersatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmSelf-motivated with the ability to work to agreed deadlines.
