JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Finance Manager role is a hands-on position that supports Fox Sports LATAM business, including working closely with the local Mexico and corporate finance teams. This role requires an in-depth understanding of finance, accounting, and financial reporting, preferably in the Media and/or sports industry. This is a high-visibility role due to the launch of a new business in Mexico, including a recent acquisition.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan, including working directly with operational leadsConsolidation of business units’ financials, including domestic and foreign entitiesFinancial reporting submissions, including budget, forecast, financial results (PL, cash flow, etc)Review and provide support for financial statement variancesReview contracts for Sports Programming and prepare/manage a schedule of rights payments and amortizationAnalyze and report revenue and related metricsEstablish regular communication with other business units to coordinate on intercompany transactionsBalance sheet analysis and Trial balance oversight for both Corporate and Statutory submissionsFX Accounting & ReportingWork with and review local Mexico team’s monthly and quarterly reporting deliverablesCollaborate with local Mexico operations teams to understand local processes and contractual obligationsFacilitate financial systems support (Workday, etc.) related to statutory or other requirementsManage monthly close process, including preparing and/or reviewing journal entriesAssist Mexico team on day-to-day activities, including AP, AR, and other accounting functions and reportingCoordinate with and provide support to auditors and tax department as neededManage 1 staff member to assist with all deliverables

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field10+ years of related experience in accounting and financeWritten and verbal proficiency in SpanishStrong analytical skills, ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented, and meet time-sensitive deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and the aptitude to communicate with all levels of managementLeadership experience in managing, developing, and training staffStrong overall computer skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Workday Financials, Reporting Tools, and Foundation Data Model (FDM)CPA

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-149,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
