About the Role
\nThe Finance department is responsible for all transaction reconciliation, related revenue reconciliation and F&A support functions as necessary to operate the program. The department is led by the Senior Finance Manager, supporting the Program Director and the Senior Finance Director.
\nThe Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for leadership & oversight of all Conduent client operational finance (With the support of the Financial Reconciliation Manager), as well as corporate F&A functions and staff for the Bay Area Toll Authority FastTrack program. This includes but is not limited to bank/revenue reconciliation, transaction reconciliation/Reciprocity (Inter-Agency Transaction & Toll reconciliation), Exceptions Processing. Additional responsibilities include other Conduent F&A functions as noted below.
\nResponsibilities
\n\n Lead, manage, and mentor staff of 20+ FTE.\n Manage and monitor client reconciliation deliverables (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) as dictated by contractual KPIs, including resolution of variances. \n Provide Client Support – interface with clients and external vendors.\n Develop and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting processes; identify and mitigate potential shortfalls to current procedures that impact SLAs.\n Maintain SOPs for financial reporting processes.\n Assist team in conducting analysis of reconciling variances and identifying root cause as necessary. \n Follow-up with technical team to identify root cause analysis for recurring issues.\n Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and best practices.\n Facilitate financial reporting portion of annual SOC audit. \n Oversee and assist all Financial Audits for internal QA department, Client, and or External Audit groups.\n Work with reconciliation manager to provide any additional client requested reporting data.\n Take initiative and drive improvement & efficiencies for both Conduent and the BATA clients. \n Interact with different levels of Conduent leadership to address any finance related program issues/concerns.\n Support preparation of projected financials for change order pricing proposals to client. \n Build and maintain the preparation of financial reporting, budget, forecast/plan.\n Partner with cross functional teams to understand/challenge major assumptions & other drivers of the business to create accurate forecast/plan.\n Integrate month-end close process analysis by partnering with Accounting & Operations teams. \n Review P&L for accuracy and completeness, understanding business reasons for any deviations to established projections.\n Support financial reporting requests from Corporate and/or Business Operations and/or Clients.\n Develop & mentor staff, including ensuring cross training of various functions across the department to allow for fluidity during times of high volumes.\n Review and approval of monthly client invoicing, including milestone & change order billings as applicable.\n\nRequirements
\n\n 10+ years work experience in Finance, Accounting, or Treasury/Cash Management preferred.\n Tolling/Transportation experience a plus. \n Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or applicable field - CPA/MBA preferred.\n Strong understanding of US GAAP compliant solutions and methodologies.\n Experience with financial systems a plus - eg. JD Edwards System, Management Financial Reporting and Planning, Oracle Financials.\n Strong analytical, supervisor, and leadership skills.\n Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data issues/needs quickly\n Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate information across teams; comfortable presenting to key stakeholders (executives, client teams, etc.).\n Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.\n\nFlexible Working

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $152,400- $169,926.\n
