The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the Revenue Recognition and Credit Control for the Asia region.

This position reports to the Senior Finance Director / Regional CFO and is part of the Regional Finance Team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Own, maintain and manage the revenue recognition policy (for the region) in line with group policies and US GAAP.Review revenue related documents (such as tender documents, sales contracts, purchase orders, LC documents) to determine revenue recognition criteria and to ensure that such criteria are met for accurate and timely recording.Support commercial team to structure deals that would enable fulfillment of company objectives.Develop, implement and effect credit management policies/procedures to minimize credit risk and optimize cash flowManage, with the help of support staff, the letter of credit process for the regionWork on process and system improvements that would bring further efficiency to the Quote-to-Cash processFormally and Informally provide leadership to the AR/RR team

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business/equivalent and/ or professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA)Min 7 years’ experience in finance and accounting with a focus on revenue recognition & credit managementIn-depth knowledge of US GAAP (particularly on revenue recognition)Familiar with letter of credit processes and incotermsMin 3 years’ experience with ERP and CRM softwareExcellent oral and written English communication skills  Strong proficiency in Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, etc.)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Internal/External audit in Big 4 auditing firmsCapital equipment /Life-science equipment environmentMandarin business communication (Simplified and Traditional)
