How you’ll make an impact:
This position is responsible for credit risk management, support successful implementation of new projects in EMEA region and cooperation on transactional accounting activities.
Drive Credit management activitiesBe trustworthy business partner for other departments, mainly FPA, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Treasury, Legal, etc.Lead a smaller team in direct/dotted reporting line.Participate on EMEA projects as a finance representative.Monitor and assess compliance with internal controls, tax planning, IFRS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Edwards Financial Policies and Procedures for all entities and operations. If necessary, hands-on involvement in accounting activities and managing the monthly close process for designated legal entities (e.g. monthly review of countries’ P&L and B/S).What you'll need (Required):
University degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit.Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.What else we look for (Preferred):
