Senior Manager, Finance & Administration

SENIOR MANAGER, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION, Environment, Health, and Safety Office, reporting to the Director of Operations & Management System will serve as a member of the leadership team; be responsible for a broad range of human resources services and administration for the department; work closely with Managing Director, Directors, and Associate Directors on issues related to personnel relations and personnel development; be responsible for directing and managing support staff personnel, recruitment, employment, on-boarding, and payroll functions within the department; manage and lead all phases of the budgeting process including budget planning, budget submissions, monitoring, projections, budget changes, and closing the fiscal year; develop reports for the annual budget allocation process, strategic plans, and other activities; plan and implement space changes; provide support and acting as a resource to new staff; deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment; directs all administrative and finance functions; manage and oversee financial, personnel, facilities, and general administrative affairs for the EHS Office and the associated EHS Programs; serve as the primary liaison on all administrative and financial functions between the EHS Office, Central HR, Office of the VP for Finance, as well as outside agencies and organizations; and act as primary Financial Authorizer for EHS Office/EHS Headquarters’, associated EHS Programs, and DLC EHS Coordinators.
