Principal Accountabilities:

Analyze, evaluate, modify, configure, test and implement enterprise wide purchased systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.).Prepare application system specifications. Plan, implement and coordinate system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance.Manage, define, test, train and implement one or more functional areas within the ERP SystemManage business analysis of systems and follow through the full development life cycleEducate others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modulesImplement and communicate system change requirementsTranslate business needs into technical requirementsProvide guidance, advice, and training for direct reports
 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fieldEquivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree to be determined by the nature of the specific job and the hiring manager’s criteriaTen years of progressive experience with at least three years of managerial experienceStrong organization and communication skills

Knowledge & Application:

Manager with expert knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a functionRequires broad theoretical knowledge or advanced knowledge of a highly specialized field and their interrelationshipsDirects the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas

Problem Solving:

Understands complex issues and their applicationProblems are unclearly defined and sufficient information may not be availableRequires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implicationsSolutions may need to be devised based on limited informationImplementation of solutions often requires a longer term view and take into consideration multiple perspectives and future implications
