About the Role

Responsible for conducting and delivering high value financial analysis as well as developing AIA's financial plans and budgets to facilitate management decision making.

Hold overall accountability over the Financial Reporting & Controls functionsPrepare and review periodic review of management and statutory financial reportings and govenerance controls.Manage investment related financial reportings and reconcile investment transactions to ensure accuracy in accounting records.Supervise the team to ensure group reportings , ICFR reportings , tax reporting , and regulatory reportings are accurately submitted on time according to group policies and regulatory guidelines.  Analyzing financial and operational results against budgets, trends and deliver the associated commentary notes for management reporting and provide meaningful insights on the business performance.Proactively and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to safeguard ICFR controls , accounting guidelines and policies and to meet the deadlines as it relates to reporting obligations.Strive for ongoing improvements in operational efficiency through technology transformations or process streamlining.Liaise with external and internal auditors and address audit findings and implement corrective actions accordingly.Perform ad-hoc reporting, projects and analysis as required by stakeholders.Support the group led finance related projects, such as new IFRS standards implementation and finance automations.Complete Ad-hoc projects on assigns.Manage and coach the finance reporting team.
