About the Role
Responsible for conducting and delivering high value financial analysis as well as developing AIA's financial plans and budgets to facilitate management decision making.Roles and Responsibilities:
Hold overall accountability over the Financial Reporting & Controls functionsPrepare and review periodic review of management and statutory financial reporting and governance controls.Manage investment related financial reporting and reconcile investment transactions to ensure accuracy in accounting records.Supervise the team to ensure group reporting , ICFR reporting , tax reporting , and regulatory reporting are accurately submitted on time according to group policies and regulatory guidelines. Analyzing financial and operational results against budgets, trends and deliver the associated commentary notes for management reporting and provide meaningful insights on the business performance.Proactively and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to safeguard ICFR controls , accounting guidelines and policies and to meet the deadlines as it relates to reporting obligations.Strive for ongoing improvements in operational efficiency through technology transformations or process streamlining.Liaise with external and internal auditors and address audit findings and implement corrective actions accordingly.Perform ad-hoc reporting, projects and analysis as required by stakeholders.Support the group led finance related projects, such as new IFRS standards implementation and finance automations.Complete Ad-hoc projects on assigns.Manage and coach the finance reporting team.Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA Holder.Hands on experience of Accounting Software or ERP/SAP knowledge, Excellent PC skills and familiar with systems automation driven working environment.Solid demonstrated communication skills/stakeholders engagement and strong an business analytics and problem solving abilities.High degree of data accuracy, attention to detail and ability to multi-task and balance multiple requests working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
