As a senior manager on the Food team, you will . . .

As a senior manager, Food, you will… 

·       Develop and drive the U.S. Snacking strategy – You will be responsible for creating annual budget and strategic plans for key customer occasion.  This role is responsible for short- and long-term category strategy through a blend of analytics, consumer and competitive insight, and brand and partner considerations

·       Lead the development & launch of big bet innovation – You will lead the product innovation strategy, business casing, development briefs, research briefs, and all processes of developing of new products. You will lead cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and strong execution of innovation based in customer, business, and competitive insights

·       Manage the day-to-day business of a high-growth category – You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day processes and relationships to maintain a great customer and partner experience with your associated category. You will work cross-functionally to own and maintain product performance such as: product launch excellence, product quality and supply, product optimizations, operational changes or communications, naming, and positioning

·       Inspire and influence the enterprise on the potential for Snacking – As a senior manager on the Food team you will be the internal representative of your category. You will be responsible igniting excitement and awareness of growth plans, gaining cross functional partnership and engagement along the way. You will be an advocate for the Food business within the Enterprise, proactively developing ways to grow the business

·       Contribute to a passionate, fun team  - You will join team with high passion for food and customer experience. As senior manager, you will be responsible for contributing and driving a culture that pushes us forward together as a team

 

We’d love to hear from people with: 

·       Progressive experience in brand management, 6-10 years

·       Project leadership in a highly cross-functional environment, 6-10 years

·       Progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new or existing products or strategies

·       Strong business acumen with 5+ years experience in financial forecasting, in-depth analytics, business case development and/or P&L management

·       A passion for developing products and building brands rooted in customer empathy

·       Ability to story tell leveraging data and insights to inform actions that will develop the brand

·       Previous experience in brand management, supply chain, finance, marketing, or consumer insights preferred

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
