JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Corporation is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and team-oriented hospitality professional for the position of Senior Manager, Food Services. The Senior Manager, Food Services will manage multi-outlet operations in the FOX Studio Lot.  Outlet assignments may change, based on operational needs.  When assigned to manage the Commissary Dining Room, responsibilities will include taking reservation calls, confirming reservations, assigning reservations, seating guests, and managing lunch service.  

The Senior Manager, Food Services will manage teams of union employees.  The main responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, payroll management, and performance monitoring of union employees. 

The Senior Manager, Food Services supervises the coordination, prompt preparation, and accurate delivery of to-go orders, including online orders and email orders. This person takes the lead in managing the FOX Food Services online ordering website and the Point-of-Sale systems.  The Senior Manager, Food Services is also responsible for planning, executing, and supervising Food Services special set-ups such as brunches and BBQs.  

The Senior Manager will be the point of contact for production groups in the lot for arranging outlet extensions (“Late Openings”) and issuing billing. This person will take the lead in managing cross-functional projects and annual FOX Food Services projects, as assigned. The Senior Manager, Food Services is also responsible for implementing the FOX Corporation policies and procedures and ensures that the standards set forth by the Department of Public Health are met daily.

Floor presence and managing the floor during breakfast and lunch serviceEnsure the staff side work duties are completedDaily facilities opening and closing inspectionsDaily Payroll and updating staff tracking reportsPlan weekly staff schedules and booking coverage, as neededPerform employee tip payout procedures and adjusting report variances, if any POS transaction adjustments, if anyUpdate daily menusConduct safe reconciliationMonthly inventory and order managementManagement of storage rooms and employee locker roomsCoordination with the Back of the House teamProcess meal voucher requests and receipt requests Price managementOther tasks and projects, as assigned


WHAT YOU WILL NEED

7+ years of managerial experience in a corporate or a studio lot food services operationsExperience in managing union employeesPositive attitude and team playerOrganized, detail-oriented, a good problem solver, and a good communicatorValue good customer service and possess strong hospitality skillsProficient and comfortable with office computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and ZoomGood understanding of modern technology to easily learn food services apps/ softwareAbility to run reports with point-of-sale softwareComfortable in handling cashAvailable to work on a flexible or rotating schedule, opening or closing shifts, and on weekends based on business needs

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $67,000.00-85,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
