ClassPass is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Manager of FP&A with excellent business acumen. You will lead the company’s financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will partner closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the company, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. The role is predominantly focused on the ClassPass business, though sits on our FP&A team whose responsibilities span both Mindbody and ClassPass.
Responsibilities:
Lead the ClassPass’ financial planning and analysis function, including overseeing month-end financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance to the Board of Directors and executive leadership, forecasting, annual planning, and long-term strategic planning Conduct in-depth analyses of revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and unit economics to understand recent financial trends and performance, and recommend changes to policies and products to support growth strategies and improve company financial performance Partner with key business leaders across departments (e.g., Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations) to drive strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and optimize financial outcomes; develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support scenario analysis and business planning Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development Enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to scale with the company's growth and improve efficiency in financial planning and reportingRequirements:
7+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with experience in a tech or SaaS company preferred Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with SQL, BI tools, and ERP systems (e.g., Anaplan) preferred Excellent written and visual communication skills; strong ability to clearly communicate analytical insights via slides and written summary in order to influence senior executives and drive strategic decision making through data-driven insights Deep understanding of subscription metrics, revenue recognition principles, and financial modeling best practices Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible, team-oriented attitude; willingness to quickly pivot to new projects as required by business needs Have we piqued your curiosity?Sound like the role for you?
