**Purpose**
Lead and manage the FX Options Operations team, focusing on confirmation, settlements, and cash control processes. Oversee day-to-day operations, process and control reviews, strategic use of technology, and adapt to new regulations and business needs. Coordinate projects and manage relationships with external and internal partners.
**What You'll Do**
Specialized Accountabilities:
+ Create and maintain standard confirmation templates for FX Options (Vanilla, Exotic, and Structured products).
+ Draft confirmations for complex/structured products and variations.
+ Liaise with stakeholders and legal counsel for timely delivery of confirmation templates.
+ Provide product knowledge training to the operations team.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
+ Oversee and maintain FXO operational activities, including trade confirmation, cash-flow settlement, and cash control, across multiple geographic locations and jurisdictions.
+ Drive a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
+ Act as the primary escalation point for operational concerns and provide effective incident management support during technology disruptions.
+ Identify and evaluate automation and technology solutions to improve productivity, cost, and service delivery. Collaborate with GWRT to design and build necessary technology platforms.
+ Ensure adherence to day-to-day business controls and regulatory requirements, including operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.
+ Champion a high-performance environment by attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating the team. Implement a people strategy, set goals, conduct performance reviews, and manage succession planning.
**What You’ll Bring**
+ Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
+ Experience in Capital Markets Operations, with a strong background in FX Options.
+ Proven experience in confirmation drafting for complex/structured products and product variations.
+ Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex).
+ Strong technical aptitude, including experience with system automation and improvement (e.g., VBA, macros). Ability to identify and evaluate automation and technology solutions to improve productivity, cost, and service support delivery.
+ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
+ Ability to oversee and maintain operational activities, including trade confirmation, settlements, and cash control processes.
