Lead and Manage Multi-Discipline Engineering Team

Provide expert understanding of Semiconductor Facilities Chemical, Gas, Water and Wastewater, System Engineering Technical Domain including for Engineering, Design, Construction, Operational, and Maintenance capabilities in order to lead the Engineering team and provide critical support to North Asia Micron Site NetworkTechnically lead the Multi-Discipline Engineering team focused on strategic and operational excellenceSupport building a skilled, strategic Engineering team for Chemical, Gas, Water and Wastewater, and other subject areas (including recruitment, training, staffing, and retention)Invest time in coaching, mentoring, and developing team member’s career pathsDrive team engagement, inspiring and motivating the team to do their best and achieve daring goalsProvide leadership on Global Facilities initiatives, providing clarity and line of sight for the Engineering teamAssist the Director in building a coordinated strategic plan, including driving innovation and ground-breaking initiatives.Support the network effort to implement, monitor and drive continuous improvement for success of Micron’s strategic programs and initiativesIdentify, manage and supervise key performance indicators for the department. Lead Multi-Discipline Engineering for Large-scale Greenfield FAB Design and Construction projects in North Asia

Oversee the discipline-related activities for planning, execution, and completion of North Asia FAB Design and Construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsCollaborate with entire Project and Collaborator team including from Global and Regional Facilities, Site Facilities, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Layout and Planning, and other internal and external collaborator teamsEstablish and maintain best-in-class Engineering and Construction practices, focusing on innovation, efficiency and Sustainability.Drive Engineering and Construction cost management initiatives and ensure financial accountability in all construction activities.Ensure that project and subject area scope, schedule, and cost meets customer, requestor, and project needsEnsure appropriate communication and collaboration with Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement and Manufacturing partners, to deliver project objectives and results.Perform timely review of design packages and providing documented comments and feedback as necessary. Ensure designs are in compliance with all standards, codes, and regulationsMonitor progress and provide Engineering and Design support during construction projectsProvide support for project cost and schedule estimates and justification for approvalProvide supervision and coordination of Consultant resources

Provide Technical Support, Leadership, and Expertise

Lead Multi-Discipline Engineering team to provide consultation and support to Global, Regional, and Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams as the Technical Field Domain Expert.Collaborate with internal partners and collaborators including Technology Development Team, Procurement, Finance, Legal, etc.Analyze system designs to identify improvements that will result in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savingsSupport sites with technical problem analysis and fixing/problem solving using standard tools and methodologies as requestedBenchmark within and external to Micron sites on Engineering Best Practices and Best Known Methods (BKM) of Facilities buildings and systemsMaintain technical knowledge domain expertise on your respective subject area including for Industry Standards and Best Practices, Trends and Technological advances, emerging technology roadmap, Design Innovations, Sustainability, Digitalization, etc.

Provide Design and Construction Project Support, Leadership, and Expertise

Support the Micron Global, Regional, and Site Design and Construction project teams in the Engineering and Design development for the FAB Design and Construction projectsReview and provide feedback/lessons learned/support of the Micron Global Design and Construction Standards and Construction Specifications with focus and emphasis on Engineering Design and Construction of your respective systems.Review and provide feedback/lessons learned/support of the system design concepts for your respective field systems to be deployed into the Design and Construction ProjectsReview capacity planning databases and system operating trends across the network and validating utilization and diversity factor assumptionsParticipate and/or lead capacity and scenario planning across the network, including evaluation of system and distribution capacity impacts based on scenario changesReview and advise on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for Facilities infrastructure additions or modifications

Provide Global Initiatives Program Support, Leadership, and Expertise

Support, review, and provide feedback/lessons learned of the Micron Global Best Known Methods documents with focus and emphasis on Operations and Maintenance Reliability and/or PerformanceSupport, review, and provide feedback/lessons learned of the Global Facilities Programs & Initiatives, including for program implementation and executionSupport the Global Facilities Sustainability Programs in support of Micron’s Corporate Sustainability goals and initiatives, including for program implementation and executionSupport, review, and provide feedback on the Lessons Learned from Micron Global, Regional, and Site teams that will be incorporated into the Micron Global Standards and BKMs
